About this project
Who runs Import Knowledge, how the reporting is produced and why the platform is openly accessible.
Import Knowledge is an open project by Vinko Kolar. I'm a certified e-commerce merchant (IHK), living in Guangzhou in the Pearl River Delta, studying Mandarin at Guangdong University of Technology.
For years I've worked with Chinese manufacturers on the ground and inspected suppliers for importers from German-speaking countries. What I learn, I write down here.
This platform sells nothing. It's my tool for making collected knowledge accessible — for traders who want to import from China safely.
Why open?
I run two commercial brands: China Supplier Check (independent on-site supplier verification) and China Manufacturers (full sourcing from China).
The connection is open — my name and the same company (Link Pulse Ltd., EU-registered (Cyprus)) are in the legal notice. I believe openness is more credible than claimed neutrality that gets spotted anyway.
