Design for Recycling

Design for Recycling means designing packaging so that it can be sorted and recycled in real systems.

Design for Recycling considers material combinations, colours, closures, labels and barriers from the start of product development. Under the PPWR this assessment contributes to recyclability performance grades A, B or C.
