EPR

EPR means extended producer responsibility: businesses help finance and organise the end-of-life treatment of their packaging.

Under Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), responsibility continues beyond the factory gate. Depending on the country, producers or importers must register, report quantities and pay system or recycling fees for packaging.
